About Infant Aquatics

Our baby and me classes have been developed to increase water familiarisation and confidence within the 6 month - 3 year age group. The age group breakdown takes into account developmental stages in a baby's physical and motor skill development.

Our program is taught with a parent or carer in the water and not only involves teaching the child but also educates the parent on how to become comfortable in encouraging water confidence in their child.

This stage uses songs, games and activities that all have a purpose in teaching a range of skills including entries, floating, breathing and movement through the water.

This introductory stage of a child's swimming life is based on fun with learning that is designed to create a love of the water while teaching basic swim and survival skills.
